Duolingo English Test App Reviews

Great app but there is a bug on questions with hearing type because time starts before sound is loaded, in my test has been loaded when i only have 10 sec remaining

Talk about a great educational app

If you stop the test, you gotta wait 24 hrs to start over. Sigh. Oh well its understandable... Also, it would be great to certify other languages aswell!

I am not learning English I am learning Spanish. I was doing it then my mom called "Are you doing english?" Then I noticed so I deleted this app and waited until they add all of the languages. Please fix this before we do the test we need a select language thingy.

The app testing is good. But its been 5 days since I gave the test. I still havent received the results. The timer is stuck at 0 hours remaining. The app also collects ID proof and Im not sure if its misused.

I speak English. So I think it would be a good idea to include more language options.

Its been 11 days I havent revived a score

I speak English natively so maybe you could add certifications for spanish, french, german, or dutch speakers?

I really suggest not downloading. This app has things that seem to be identity theft related. Such as; picture of you, picture of your passport or I.d or your drivers license. Its also wanted your birthday and your full name. Right before one of the last step it says to; not receive calls, dont move your face out of camera , dont speak unless told to ect. It had some other odd things as well. Im glad I didnt give them any information that they could use. So please dont download keep your identity safe!!

Fun and easy to use

I needed to verify my English fluency for getting a freelance contract at oDesk and used this score. Its shorter than any other tests I have ever taken. Furthermore, its kind of fun. Though, its a serious certification thus you need a valid ID to get the official score.

I, a native, fluent, English speaker, just took the test out of curiosity, and the segments where you have to choose the right words are ridiculous. They make no sense and one of mine even had words in it that are not English words! (It said "necessaries" instead of "necessities"). I havent gotten my score yet but I am curious to see it.

I think this is a great idea, except that English is my native language lol. Is there any plans to expand this to French and Portuguese and other languages for certification?

Great app from duolingo to disrupt ielts and toefl market, hope more language tests will be added in the future.

Absurd and repetitive testing. Impossible to get accurate results from a test like this. Poor content. A waste of time.

The Duolingo Test Center is wonderful. It has an option to share your certificate on LinkedIn, which I really like. The test is quick, it takes under 20 min to do the whole thing, and in my opinion the score is very accurate. Excellent app!! 100% recommend
